Learn to Draw and Paint. Sculpt with Clay or Plaster of Paris. Create Mosaics, Learn to Sew or Make a Beaded Bracelet or Necklace!
Drawing, Painting, Beginner Clay, Plaster Sculptures*, Mosaics or Jewelry Making. Also Learn to Sew*, *some projects take more than one session to complete & may need a fee added.
Learn to draw and paint in all different mediums (you can request the medium you work in – it’s up to you!) Learn to Draw and Paint, I’ll assist you all along the way. Minimum age is 7 years old, but younger kids can attend the Paint Alongs.
Create your own Mosaic: Two sessions may be needed. ($10 fee should be added for supplies).
Create Clay Sculptures, such as small animals or characters using “air-dry” clay that doesn’t require a fee. (No extra fee for a small 1″-2″ figure) Want to work in “real” clay? Add a supply fee once/project at checkout, 2 sessions to complete since I have to fire it.
Create a plaster of paris sculpture, go big or small, it’s messy, but I have aprons here. They can take home to finish or sign up again to complete here. (No extra fee)
Make a necklace, earrings or bracelet, ($10 fee should be added for materials).
Learn to Sew: Sign up for any art class to make a pillow, pj’s, stuffed animal, whatever you choose. No supplies needed to start, ($10 fee should be added for materials). I have sewing machines here or bring your own. 8 and up. This takes about 2-3 classes to complete an easy project. At checkout, type in messages that they/you want to sew & what they want to make: stuffed animal, pillow, avocado, pea, or a bag. PJ’s is fine, but takes 3 classes, contact me for this as it requires more cloth to be purchased.
Adults sign up where noted for adults or Tuesday 6:00-8:00, Thursdays 9:30-12:30. Check the calendar page for classes.
Recommended age for youth classes (Tuesday-Friday and Saturdays) is 7 and up. Classroom behavior is expected.
Youth can sign up can come in together during the “Open Art” classes or the Saturday classes. You can drop off your child or stay here while they work or just drop them off for the 2 hour block of time. *If you attend with your child, they can be as young as 6.
Private Party for Children and/or Adults
For children: 3 hours total: Two hours for painting; 1 hour to party!
Great for kids birthdays or just for a fun event. Age 4-6 require adults to be present to assist kids. All supplies included.
For adults: 2.5-3 hours for painting. Party while you paint. All supplies included. Adults can bring snacks and adult beverages. I do have bottle and wine opener and glasses here.

Express It Arts now offers an easy, safe and affordable after school program with bus drop-off right at Express It Arts studio, available from Memorial, Nottingham, H.O. Smith and Library only, starting at 2:30, ending at 6:00. If you’d like to come in earlier, contact me and I’ll arrange it!
