The Wanderer’s Hut strives to create crafts and artwork with a whimsical flair. Each piece is handcrafted with meticulous care and love. On our Etsy site, you will find a variety of items, from gnomes and snowmen to wood-burned ornaments, wands, and jewelry boxes. The Wanderer’s Hut formed as a result of one woman's passionate desire to add more whimsy and magic to the world, while experimenting with a large array of artistic techniques and mediums, such as sewing, sculpting, crocheting, jewelry making, drawing, and wood-burning. Originally launched as the blog "The Wandering Mom of New Hampshire” - created to detail the many hikes and excursions we took while my son was undergoing cancer treatment - it soon evolved into the creative business it is today: The Wanderer’s Hut. The little handmade details and designs I create - like sewing different hats for gnomes and giving them each their own sense of character and personality, or sculpting carrot noses out of clay and painting on each smile for my snowmen, all give me great joy, as I hope it does for each person who sees my creations.
