Joshua's Park was donated to the Town in May of 2016 by the Amherst Land Trust. The park includes a large playground suitable for ages 2-12, open fields, and community gardens. This is a wonderful park to spend a few hours playing on the playground and enjoying family time.
Park Rules:
- Joshua’s Park is open from dawn to dusk
- Joshua’s Park is a “Carry In/Carry Out Park”.
- Use of Joshua’s Park is “At Your Own Risk”.
- Improper use of equipment is prohibited.
- Playground equipment is suitable for ages 2-12.
- Only those who have a plot, and their guests, shall enter the Stearns-Davis Community Garden area.
- Playground equipment may be hot at times. Please use caution.
- The use of alcohol and tobacco products is prohibited.
- No Glass of any kind is allowed in the playground area.
- Dogs must be kept on a leash and are not allowed in the wood-chipped area of the playground.
