PRIDE in 2023 would be our 10th year. As Portsmouth celebrates its 400th Anniversary, it is important to remember that many of its citizens in those first 350 years remained invisible and will never be known. Their stories are lost to us, their lives a mystery, and the very idea of identity something unformed. However, we now live in a City which supports and encourages all of us in our glorious differences - it welcomes and affirms the LGBTQ+ Community, raises the Pride flag in June, and joins in our Parade.
