We are lucky in Southern, NH to have so many great playgrounds and parks to explore. From swings to slides, to climbing walls and water features, Southern, NH parks and playgrounds keep my kids active, are a great place to meet old friends (and make new friends!), and they're FREE!

Benson Park

Hudson, NH

Features we love: 

Benson Park is typically our go to park to check off all the things on our list.  We love to play on the playground followed by a scenic walk around the pond to look for turtles and geese.  When we are feeling more adventures we head off into the trails for a little hike.  Don't forget to visit the shoe!

Don Ball Park

Derry, NH

Features we love: 

We love heading here on hot summer days to run around and cool off in the splash pad!  The kids have fun darting back and forth from the playground to the water.

Funway Park

Londonderry, NH 

(Nelson Road off Mammoth Rd across from High School in Londonderry (Nelson Rd is next to fire station)

Features we love: 

I loved coming here when my kids were younger.  It is an easy park to watch all the wandering youngsters.  The play structures are farm themed and adorable.  The playground area has 2 areas for younger and older kids.

Greeley Park 

Nashua, NH

Features we love: 

Greeley Park is a great place for a picnic and some play time.  Enjoy the large open space, leisurely walk the trails, and hit up the playground.

Griffin Park

Features we love: 

We love the fenced in playground at Griffin Park and walking around the paved path.  There is also an adorable ice cream stand/farm next door that we love to visit.

Features we love: We love the unique play structures at Legacy, this park was built to be handicap accesible for all children regardless of their abilities or mobile devices.  We love to visit this park in the fall to soak in all the sunshine.
